DampRid the USA’s leading moisture absorber brand enters the UK

DampRid -  USA’s leading moisture absorber range has made its entrance into the UK market.

The brand, owned by WM Barr located in Memphis, USA, is supplying the UK market through their distributor NAMz Sales, Marketing & Distribution based in Manchester.

Chris Jones NAMz Managing Director, says “I am so pleased to be working with WM Barr to launch the USA’s market-leading Moisture Absorber into the UK. The strength of the brand, the quality of the product and the heritage of success in the US is leading to a huge amount of interest.

DampRid has excellent customer distribution in the USA with long-term customers such as, Home DEPOT, LOWES, WALMART, WALGREENS, BED, BATH & BEYOND, PUBLIX to name a few. Globally customers are served by a strong network of distributor partners. Damprid has an approximate 90% share of the moisture absorber category in the USA, and therefore is the USA’s leading brand.

We have already had success in the DIY sector, launching with a major DIY multiple retailer and we’re looking forward to extending the branded portfolio with other retail and wholesale customers in the months ahead.”

DampRid is now available in the UK with a range of non-fragrance and scented products. The range includes small refillable containers that are perfect for small rooms such as a utility, toilets, bathrooms and bedrooms, to hanging bags that work extremely well in wardrobes and closets. There are also larger absorbers which are very effective in area’s such as lofts, basements and for Caravans & Motorhomes.

DampRid products attract and trap excess moisture, eliminate musty odours, prevent moisture damage and inhibits the growth of mould.
