Screwfix expansion continues with the opening of Ellesmere Port branch

A RETAILER selling power tools and electrical and plumbing supplies has brought 13 jobs to Ellesmere Port.

Screwfix is now inviting tradesmen to the town to be among the first to benefit, as it launches a new branch in town.

The national retailer celebrated the opening with a launch event at its new trade counter, based at Junction 8, of the M53.

Screwfix branch manager Jason Lathe said: “This is our first branch in Ellesmere Port and it is great news, creating 13 jobs locally and introducing Screwfix to the area.

“Tradesmen will have much greater access to all the trade essentials they need, which aside from being welcomed by homeowners who rely on Ellesmere Port’s professionals, means they won’t have to travel far to reach their nearest Screwfix store.

“At Screwfix we pride ourselves on the speed, reliability and accuracy of our service and products and are looking forward to welcoming the tradesmen of Ellesmere Port.”

The branch, at Unit 7G/7H, Junction 8, will offer customers more than 18,000 products, by selecting items from a catalogue, placing their order, and then collecting the goods.

Screwfix is open Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm and Saturday 8am-5pm

I find the news and articles they publish really useful and enjoy reading their views and commentary on the industry. It's the only source of quality, reliable information on our major customers and it's used regularly by myself and my team.
