Screwfix Opens Two More Stores

Two new Screwfix stores have opened on the same day: Tongwell Industrial Estate in Milton Keynes and 

Tongwell Industrial Estate - Milton Keynes

The new Screwfix store in Milton Keynes on Tongwell Industrial Estate, Maryland Road, MK15 8HF was celebrating as they officially opened their doors on 21st February 2019 with hundreds of eager customers ready to stock up on the latest tools and trade essentials.

The Milton Keynes – Tongwell Screwfix store is part of the company’s growing network of over 615 stores nationwide, meaning 97% of the UK population is within a 30-minute drive of a store. Open seven days a week from 7am Monday to Friday, the store also provides a convenient, Click & Collect service that is available at all Screwfix locations. Using this service, customers can order their goods online or over the phone and pick them up from store in as little as one minute.

Milton Keynes – Tongwell Store Manager, Julie Longyear said: “We chose to open a new store in Milton Keynes on the Tongwell Industrial Estate to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople. Many of our new customers previously shopped with Screwfix at our Stacey Bushes or Bletchley Milton Keynes stores, so we’re delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience.

“Our celebration period, which ran from Thursday 21st February, throughout the weekend, until Sunday 24th February, attracted hundreds of customers. We have received fantastic support from the local community and are looking forward to welcoming more tradespeople and serious DIYers over the coming months.”

Amesbury - Solstice Park

The new Screwfix Amesbury – Solstice Park store in The Bluestone Centre, Sunrise Way, SP4 7QA was celebrating as they officially opened their doors on 21st February 2019, with hundreds of eager customers ready to stock up on the latest tools and trade essentials.

Amesbury – Solstice Park Store Manager, Mike Davies said: “We chose to open a new store in Amesbury – Solstice Park to better meet the needs of the local tradespeople. Many of our new customers previously shopped with Screwfix at our Andover or Salisbury stores, so we’re delighted to bring Screwfix even closer to them for greater convenience.

“Our celebration period, which ran from Thursday 21st February, throughout the weekend, until Sunday 24th February, attracted hundreds of customers. We have received fantastic support from the local community and are looking forward to welcoming more tradespeople and serious DIYers over the coming months.”
