John Colley returns to Kingfisher as Group Trading Director

Seven years after leaving B&Q, John Colley has rejoined Kingfisher as their Group Trading Director, reporting directly into Véronique Laury.

Colley's previous roles included Commercial Director for B&Q and Screwfix, before leaving to be COO at Dutch based DIY chain Maxeda DIY Group in 2010.

After leaving Maxeda in 2015, he has been both Managing Director at Majestic Wine and then a brief two month stint as CEO of Hobbycraft, before suddenly resigning last September.

Back at Kingfisher, Colley will be focusing on helping the business deliver one consistent proposition across each of its markets as well as supporting local trading teams in creating their trading plans.
