Victorian Plumbing launches new 5.5m campaign

Victorian Plumbing new advert

Online bathroom retailer Victorian Plumbing has launched its latest television advert with a £5.5 million campaign.

This brand new launch introduces two new characters to our screens, Victor and Ian, two warehouse drivers who tell us the story of the Green Button. This latest creative will be one of several variations which will be introduced over time; especially around seasonal events such as the Christmas period.

The new ad sees Victorian Plumbing continue its long relationship with Wetherall Evans, formerly known as Blac Ionica, who have once again produced and directed this live action TV ad.

“The team at Victorian Plumbing are really excited about our return to TV with the Green Button story,” says Joe Pascoe, Senior Marketing Manager of Victorian Plumbing.

“We’ve had an extremely successful summer, with our sponsorships of C4's Place In The Sun, as well as Friends on Comedy Central driving high levels of awareness and engagement with the brand. Today we’re building on that success with a brand new TV ad and huge nation-wide launch of our new creative.”

The UK based bathroom retailer, who is on track to reach sales of over £120million this financial year, was able to secure a special media purchase which saw the advert launch during the Great British Bake Off semi final on 24th October 2017.

“Brand awareness of Victorian Plumbing is at it’s highest ever - all thanks to the team’s creative thinking and willingness to test, experiment and explore new channels and opportunities to reach a new audience." says Joe.

“We’re already working on our next big project, and we’ll be launching some exciting partnerships in the coming weeks. This year is set to be our biggest yet and we’re already seeing over 3,000,000 monthly visits to the site. Being able to get our brand in front of audience numbers such as the GBBO will surely increase our brand awareness further”

This latest campaign is poised to make appearances during many high profile television shows towards the end of the year including Coronation Street and Gogglebox. Latest viewing figures for these shows ensures millions of eyes will be upon the brand as it moves into 2018!
