Eurocell PLC are a dynamic manufacturer, distributor and recycler of building products and we serve the nation via our network of over 200 retail branches across the UK. We are currently looking for a 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to join us at our Alfreton site.

This role will involve 3rd line support, development and management of the Eurocell IT and communications systems infrastructure. This includes network servers, PC’s, desktop applications & operating systems and the telephone system.

Provide responsive and professional support for staff across the organisation / multiple sites
Resolution of complex issues and liaison with other departments and with external hardware, software and communications suppliers
Provide 3rd line technical support, acting as escalation point for any issues
Provide a technical and functional escalation for the 2nd Line Support
Carry out infrastructure projects to support the needs of individual business units
To lead any root cause analysis and resolution of problems.
Own and drive problem management for the relevant technical areas.
Assist in the plan, the development and support of the IT infrastructure
Driving strong collaboration & communications across multiple support teams, business owners and product managers/owners
Out of Hours On-Call Rota

Extensive experience of working within a busy IT team
Experience of root cause analysis as part of Problem Management
A team focussed mindset is essential
Working on your own, as well as being based within a team environment and work closely with your colleagues
Methodical and Analytical
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a time critical environment
Experience in deployment of server virtualisation, Citrix, Microsoft networking, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, data backup technologies, anti-virus tools and desktop operating systems;
Server Management
Office 365 products
Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS etc)
