As the Supply Planer Planner, you will be responsible for achieving optimised levels of availability and working capital performance for all Brought in Goods sourced into central distribution and Eurocell Depots

The Planner will also manage and set appropriate stock policies for all purchased for resale goods and placing and managing all purchase orders in line with these policies.

The role has responsibilities to contribute to the effectiveness of the monthly Supply Review process, as well as holding responsibility for the monitoring the performance of all external suppliers delivering into central distribution.

Duties:
Provide process capability & expert support – Process subject matter expert in relation to Bought in Goods
Responsible for managing and maintaining central distribution stock policies for all brought in goods. This includes new products
Raise purchase orders on suppliers
Chase up deliveries that are overdue or incomplete, understand deviation reasons and put in place preventative measures should they be required.
Maintain and report on Supplier OTIF Measures
Support Demand Planning Team
Collate and report on all product availability data for Brought in Goods
Track working capital projections and changes
Maintain appropriate MRP data and ensure any IT issues are collated, raised and followed through to resolution
Escalate any contentious issues to line manager
Support in documenting Standard Operating Procedures
Support NPD projects and their successful delivery

Key Skills / Experience:
Recent and relevant Supply Planning experience, ideally in a large-scale manufacturing business
Previous experience of ERP systems
Experience within manufacturing industry
Understand the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) process and the parameters that determine the supply and demand recommendations and exceptions generated
Working knowledge of SAP
Able to challenge opinions based on knowledge & experience, which will involve communicating an alternative solution to the issue being discussed
Excellent communicator
Ability to make effective decisions with limited time and information
Strong analytic capabilities
