2021 Retail Job Losses Exceed 33,000
The Centre for Retail Research (CRR) has published store closure and job loss data to the end of May 2021.

Total job losses stand at 33,223 and store closures at 1,667. This compares with job losses of 31,228 and store closures of 1,632 for the year ended April 2021.
