The biggest impact once again came after the final whistle, with footfall between midnight and 6am rising +56.6% year on year across all UK destinations and +65.3% on high streets as fans celebrated into the early hours.
Market towns continued their remarkable run of form, leading the league table with footfall more than doubling both year on year (+107.7%) and week on week (+105.4%). Strong gains across coastal towns, historic towns and regional cities reinforce a trend we've seen throughout the tournament: fans are backing their local venues and staying closer to home.
England may be chasing the trophy, but local destinations are already enjoying the rewards, with fans increasingly keeping celebrations close to home and giving the night-time economy a well-earned assist.
