B&M Opens in New Store in Bournemouth

B&M’s new Winton store is officially open, providing a convenient destination for customers to find great quality and amazing value all under one roof!

Located at the former Wilko unit on Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, the new B&M store has undergone a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme before officially opening its doors on Friday 30th January 2026. Customers can now enjoy 16,066 sqft. of sales space, filled with fantastic bargains and exciting deals across all departments.

To celebrate the opening of the new store, store colleagues were asked to nominate a charity they felt deserved some VIP treatment for the work they do within the local community. They selected the team from Bournemouth Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Bournemouth Foodbank is a community organisation supporting individuals and families in crisis across the local area through compassionate and practical help. They aim to bring communities together to support those facing poverty and hardship, with a vision to end food poverty for all.

The store manager commented: “Bournemouth Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
