B&M Opens New Store In Aberdeen

B&M was thrilled to open its brand-new Aberdeen store on Saturday 8th of November!

Following a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment of the former Peter Vardy Dealership showroom, we’re thrilled to open the doors to your new B&M Lang Stracht, Aberdeen store. Shoppers can now enjoy a 6,480 sqft. garden centre and 26,716 sqft. sales floor space filled with brilliant bargains and exciting deals across a range of departments.

In a boost to the local economy, the launch of the new Aberdeen store has created 60 new jobs for local people. The store manager from B&M commented saying: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

Customers can expect to find a great variety of products at their new B&M Lang Stracht store, all at the best possible prices. We stock plenty of leading household names within our food and drinks ranges, and a fantastic selection of everyday essentials, including toiletries, household cleaning, and pet essentials. Our new garden centre also stocks an impressive selection of flowers, plants, garden décor, and tools - everything you need to bring your outdoor space to life!

To mark the occasion, B&M store colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they thought deserved recognition for the work they do in the local community. They chose the team from Aberdeen North Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

Aberdeen North Foodbank supports individuals and families facing hardship to find stability and hope by providing emergency food supplies and compassionate support when it is needed most. By providing three days' worth of nutritionally balanced food and practical support to local people, the charity aims to combat poverty and hunger by working alongside partners and referral agencies within the Trussell Trust network.

The B&M store manager commented: “Aberdeen North Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
