B&M Opens New Store in Former Aberdeenshire B&Q

B&M’s new Peterhead, Aberdeenshire store is now open, bringing fantastic quality, outstanding value, and everyday convenience all under one roof!

Located at the former B&Q site at Buchan Way, the new B&M store has undergone a comprehensive internal and external renovation programme before officially opening its doors on Saturday 7th February 2026. To celebrate the store opening, B&M colleagues were asked to nominate a charity they felt deserved some VIP treatment for the work they do within the local community. They selected the team from Aberdeenshire North Foodbank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

As part of the Trussell Trust network, Aberdeenshire North Foodbank aims to combat poverty and hunger by supporting local families and individuals facing hardship.

The charity provides three days’ worth of nutritionally balanced emergency food when it is needed most. Their valuable work relies on the generosity of donations from the public as they work towards ending food poverty for all.

The B&M store manager commented: “Aberdeenshire North Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
