B&Q interested in up to 30 Focus stores
B&Q retailer Kingfisher fell 4.9p to 244.6p on scrappy selling ahead of next Thursday's third-quarter trading statement. Broker Exane BNP Paribas says the valuation looks attractive as the group could possibly purchase some stores from Focus DIY, which is currently burdened by £230million in loans and is potentially for sale. Around 30 stores could interest B&Q, which still has gaps in its coverage of the British market.
