B&Q Opens Its First Shop Within An ASDA Superstore In Dagenham
B&Q, the UK’s leading home improvement retailer, has launched its first shop within a shop at Asda Dagenham.
The new B&Q store makes it easier for customers to shop for a bigger range of DIY essentials and to combine different shopping activities into a single trip. Customers shopping for paint will find a broad range of paint brands and colours in a variety of finishes, both pre-mixed on shelf and at the new store’s paint mixing desk - which also offers a colour-match service to an amazing 2.2 million colours. Also in store is a range of tools, hardware and other products for a variety of home improvement needs. Customers can order selected items from B&Q’s full range online at diy.com for click and collect at the new B&Q Asda concession, or for home delivery.
When shopping in any of our stores, we continue to ask all our customers to shop responsibly and follow the local government’s social distancing guidelines.
Aaron Saluci Trading Manager Manager, B&Q, commented: “We’re really excited to be launching our new store within Asda Dagenham.
“We look forward to welcoming Dagenham residents and making it easier for them to combine shopping for their home improvement needs with their regular shopping trip to Asda. We’ve got a great selection of DIY essentials, as well as a paint mixing desk where customers can create their own paint colours using our colour-matching service.
“My team and I are there to help with products and services in store, such as Click & Collect, as well as to help with shopping from our broader range of products online at diy.com.
“Ensuring customers’ safety is our number one priority and we have the same strict social distancing measures in place at our new store at Dagenham, as at all other B&Q stores. During current times, we ask that customers shop responsibly and follow the Tier 3/Tier 2 social distancing guidelines.
Gary Pottle, Store Manager, Asda Dagenham, said: “I’m delighted that B&Q has launched within our store and will allow customers to pick up a range of DIY essentials while they shop with us.
“The convenience of picking up different essentials in a single trip helps customers to reduce the number of journeys they need to make. The introduction of B&Q to the store gives customers the option to combine their food shop with the opportunity to grab an essential home improvement item, get expert advice, or Click + Collect a parcel from Asda Dagenham.”
