B&Q to range Kirstie Allsopp designed wallpaper

DIY giant B&Q is taking on Laura Ashley by launching a range of kitsch wallpaper from Location, Location, Location presenter Kirstie Allsopp.

The housing expert has created six floral designs with names such as Edith, Elspeth and Miranda. They go on sale this October at B&Q’s largest stores at under £20 a roll.

Allsopp, who is working with the chain on a number of projects, said: “Given half a chance I would wallpaper every wall of every room in every house I see.”

B&Q sells more wallpaper than any other chain, more than nine million rolls a year.
