Bradford Selco/Plumbase Site Up For Sale

A high specification trade retail site, currently occupied by Selco Builders Warehouse and Plumbase in Tong Street, Bradford, has been put up for sale.
Offers in excess of £5.5 million (subject to contract and exclusive of VAT) are sought for the 96,000 sq ft site - half of which is store space - by Sanderson Weatherall, a national property firm with an office in Leeds.
Selco signed up to a 25-year lease on the site on 10th September 2008 and is understood to pay rent of circa £321k per year, guaranteed by parent company Grafton Group (UK) Ltd.
The Selco store occupies the larger of the two units and the second is occupied by Plumbase.
Jonathon White, industrial agent at Sanderson Weatherall's Leeds offices, said: “This fantastic trade counter investment represents an incredibly rare opportunity with over 14 years remaining on the lease and a PLC guarantee.
“Bradford is an incredibly well-connected city within the central core of West Yorkshire and the subject property takes advantage of this, located on Tong Street, a busy road link within two miles of the city centre.”
