Crown Paints Introduces Colour Visualisation Tool For Design Professionals

Crown Paints has launched a new digital tool on its Crown Paints Professional website, aimed at helping interior designers and architects to explore and present colour schemes with greater clarity and ease.
From commercial offices, educational spaces and healthcare settings to hospitality venues or residential interiors, the Crown Colour Visualiser is designed to assist professionals in creating colour schemes with confidence.
It enables users to upload photographs of spaces, or select from a library of prepared rooms, and apply any shade from the Crown Paints collection directly onto walls, with realistic results. The tools allows for multiple colours to be used on different wall areas with a clever, compare and contrast tool to sanity check colour palettes.
Great for gauging how a colour will look in a particular space, the Crown Colour Visualiser complements Crown's existing range of colour tools and real paint samples
This functionality supports faster design development and can be a useful aid in both early concept work and final scheme presentations. For projects where colour is central to mood and function, the tool provides an accessible tool to refine ideas in real time and adapt them to client preferences.
The Crown Colour Visualiser integration reflects Crown Paints’ ongoing commitment to supporting professionals with practical resources that complement the realities of modern design workflows. With the full Crown colour collections available through the tool, users can explore everything from warm neutrals and cool off-whites to bold accents and heritage-inspired tones, all in one place.
The tool is accessible via desktop, tablet or mobile, making it easy to bring into client meetings or site visits when needed. Chosen schemes can then be downloaded for future reference and A5 real paint samples of the colours can be ordered from the Crown Paints Professional site. All free of charge.
Kathryn Lloyd, Colour Consultant at Crown Paints said: “Choosing colour is a really personal and sometimes quite subjective part of the design process. We wanted to create something that helps remove some of the uncertainty, while still allowing for creativity and play.
“This tool is great for building out schemes, testing ideas quickly, and giving clients a realistic sense of how a space could look. It’s not about replacing design instinct, just giving designers another resource to support it.”
