Deals are focus of new Argos Catalogue

The new Argos catalogue is out today, featuring more than 7,500 new products, 1,500 price cuts and more 'market-leading' deals.

In total, Argos catalogue number 74 claims to have 'over 20,000 products for you to choose from'. These include an extra 200 'Wow' items, described by Argos as featuring 'some of our lowest prices' or 'products with great free accessories on offer' first featured in the last spring / summer catalogue.

We flicked through the compact-sized catalogue to seek these deals and found:

a Bush 6kg washing machine for £199.95;
a Bush fridge freezer (169.99) and frost-free fridge freezer (£199.95);
a Vax bagless upright vacuum cleaner (99.95) or Vax cylinder vac (£59.99);
a Qualcast lawnmower for £59.99;
a 22-inch Toshiba LCD TV for £149.99.

We also spotted half-price deals on Morphy Richards and Russell Hobbs toasters when you bought the matching kettles, celebrity chef kitchen appliance ranges from the likes of Wahl James Martin, Antony Worrall Thompson by Breville and Gordon Ramsay, Dyson's bladeless air multiplier desk fan and Argos' first 3D TVs.

Argos has also reserved more 10,000 'online exclusive' products, including more than 2,000 kitchen appliances.

The new Argos catalogue is available to pick up from stores nationwide, or browse via the Argos website, from today.

Argos can be a good place to find competitive deals - but always be sure to shop around before you buy to find the best value option. As well as sorting the winners from the losers, our household appliance reviews let you track down the best prices.

Which? tests a range of products - including a toaster, espresso maker, microwave, kettle, steamer and breadmaker from Argos' very own Cookworks range.

Argos claims its catalogues reach around 18m homes nationwide.
