Dobbies to open Livingstone store this week
The 52,000 sq ft, £8 million store, which employs 120 people, also includes a restaurant and foodhall. Its aquatic centre will offer fish and there will even be the chance to buy chickens.
The centre includes decorative urinals made by John Maguire.
Maguire said: "When Dobbies commissioned me to design an artistic centre piece for its new Livingston garden centre, I wanted to try and create a unique blend of form and function. The pieces seem to have caused a stir already."
Livingstone Garden Centre's general manager is Elliott Johnston.
Children from Dechmont Infant School and celebrity gardener Pete Jackson will open the centre.
Further stores at Peterborough, Carlisle and Liverpool are underway and Braehead and Ashford opened recently.
