eBay Advertising Launches 2026 UK Marketing Trends Calendar

eBay Advertising 2026 calendar

eBay Advertising has launched its 2026 UK Marketing Trends Calendar, offering brands and sellers a data-led view of the key seasonal moments, micro-trends and high-intent shopping periods shaping demand across the year.

Based on an analysis of eBay UK marketplace data, the calendar pinpoints when demand increases across focus categories - helping brands stay ahead, stay visible and maximise performance during peak periods.

Select examples of how demand shifts across the year include:

  • Electronics: SIM card accessories (+76%) across January - February, driven by a post-gifting setup phase as shoppers activate and optimise new devices

  • Collectables: Sealed Sticker Cases (+500%) in February, driven by post-Christmas collecting behaviour

  • Fashion: Sunglasses (+32%) in April, aligning with longer daylight hours and warmer weather

  • Home & Garden: Repellents & Deterrents (+119%) in May, ahead of peak insect season and increased travel

  • Parts & Accessories: Leak Detection Tools (+158%) across July - September, linked to higher vehicle usage and preventative checks during peak summer travel

Comment from eBay:

“Buyer demand on eBay doesn’t happen at random - it follows clear seasonal patterns that repeat year after year,” said Billy Mills, Senior Director of Enterprise Seller Development & Brands at eBay. “What’s changed is how early and how deliberately sellers need to plan for those moments.”

“Our Marketing Trends Calendar uses UK marketplace data to show when demand typically rises across categories, so they can show up at the moments that matter most.”
