Far Logistics And CDS Superstores Sign Three-Year Contract

Far Logistics (press release)

Far Logistics has secured a new three-year contract with CDS Superstores International, trading as The Range, wilko, Homebase and Bathstore, to manage its international supply chain. This expansion builds on an already established, 10-year partnership, between Far Logistics and CDS.

Under the new agreement, Far Logistics will provide end-to-end management of shipments, supported by Far’s global infrastructure and centralised Control Tower in South China.

These services are underpinned by Leda, Far Logistics’ proprietary technology platform, to provide order viability, real-time decision making, and end-to-end orchestration across CDS’s logistics network, retail operations, and fulfilment systems.

As one of the UK’s fastest-growing multi-category retailers, CDS continues to expand at pace, strengthening its national footprint across home, garden, DIY and lifestyle. The business has accelerated its store rollout programme, integrated new brands, and invested heavily in modernising its retail and digital infrastructure. This next phase of growth demands a supply chain capable of scaling with ambition, supporting diversified product ranges, and delivering a consistently seamless customer experience. Strengthening its partnership with Far Logistics ensures CDS has the operational backbone, technology integration and global agility required to power that strategy.

Over the course of their relationship, Far Logistics has consistently provided dynamic and robust freight forwarding services to CDS; the new contract marks a shift towards full systems integration.  Leda will become the technology backbone governing CDS’s supply chain flows, from inbound sourcing to inventory allocation. This innovative solution is intended to play a critical role in powering the next phase of growth for CDS, enabling greater agility, resilience, and scalability.

Within this environment, CDS can rapidly scale, optimise retail networks, and embrace omnichannel strategies. For such a fast-growing and ambitious retailer, operational flexibility, supply chain agility, and real-time orchestration will be essential levers of competitive advantage.

“This contract marks a pivotal moment in our long-standing relationship with CDS,” said Angelo Mousikou, Director, Far Logistics. “By embedding our global operations and Leda technology across their supply chain, we move from service provider to strategic enabler. We are excited to deliver a dynamic solution that can support CDS’s growth, help navigate complexity and drive operational excellence.”

“Far Logistics has been a trusted partner to CDS for years,” noted CDS CEO Alex Simpkin. “With this new agreement, we are equipping ourselves with order-level visibility, real-time intelligence, and agility across every link in our supply chain. As we scale our store footprint and integrate new brands, this partnership will be central to delivering consistent, efficient, and resilient fulfilment to our customers.”
