Grafton Reviewing GB Traditional Merchanting Business
Grafton Group has today announced that it is undertaking a review of its merchanting business in Great Britain.
The Group released the following statement:
In line with its strategic focus, the Board of Grafton Group plc today announces that it has appointed Rothschild & Co to undertake a review of certain of its traditional merchanting businesses in Great Britain which may or may not result in the sale of some or all of these businesses.
This strategic review is focused solely on the Buildbase, Civils & Lintels, PDM Buildbase, The Timber Group, Bathroom Distribution Group and NDI businesses. No other businesses in the Group form part of the strategic review.
Grafton Group is due to hold its AGM on the 28th April and will publish a trading update on 9th July.
