Home Bargains to Replace Homebase in Scunthorpe

Home Bargains is to take on the former Homebase unit in Scunthorpe, Grimsby.

The Homebase store on Lakeside Retail Park closed in January; staff having initially been told in October 2018 about the intention to close.

Signs outside the unit reveal that Home Bargains - the trading name of TJ Morris -  is to open on Saturday, May 25th and state that the business is recruiting for staff.

The store will join Argos, B&M, Mothercare, Next and The Range, among others, in Lakeside Retail Park and will be the fourth branch to open in Scunthorpe.

Home Bargains currently operates more than 400 stores across the UK and plans to grow to 800 stores.
