Homebase launches free cargo bike trial
Home Improvement retailer Homebase has followed supermarket Sainsbury's lead and introduced a cargo bike program into two of its flagship stores.
The stores in Finchley Road, London and Newmarket Road retail park in Cambridge, will run a 12 week trial offering customers free use of a London Green Cycle supplied cargo bike, to assist with transporting their DIY goods home.

The bike is capable of carrying over 100kgs, plus the rider, as well as a 270 litre capacity and has its own waterproof rain tent!
