House of Fraser poaches Wickes brand director, Tony Holdway
It has been reported by Retail Week that House of Fraser has poached two senior executives to strengthen its top team as it mounts an overseas offensive.
The department store group has hired Tony Holdway, brand director at DIY retailer Wickes, who will take up the same role at House of Fraser later this month.
It has also poached rival Debenhams’ digital development manager Sarah Baillie as its new head of multichannel business development.
Tony Holdway joined Wickes in late 2011 to support Wickes marketing director Rob Murray as the DIY retailer increased its focus on marketing.
Prior to Wickes he was brand director for Shop Direct, responsible for developing the Littlewoods business. He has also held senior marketing roles at Woolworths, Mothercare and WH Smith
