Laura Ashley CFO Steps Down
Seán Anglim, Laura Ashley's CFO and joint COO, has stepped down after more than 20 years with the business. He was appointed CFO in 2009 and joint COO in 2011.
Following Monday's announcement, share values dropped by 27% to 1.37 pence.
In a statement, the company said:
"The Company announces the resignation of Mr Seán Anglim as an Executive Director of the Company. Mr Anglim has also resigned as the Finance Director and Joint Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He will remain with the Company until the end of the year. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Anglim for his contribution during his tenure with the Company and to wish him the very best for the future.
The Company has appointed Mr Sagar Mavani as Chief Financial Officer of the Company."
