The Harrow Council website shows that on the 10th June, Patricia Penalver submitted an application on behalf of Lidl, requesting permission to make several changes to the existing Homebase store, including:

- Landscaping And Removal Of Garden Centre

The Homebase store, which is located on the town's High Road, is set for closure, but a specific date has yet to be revealed.  Staff have been told that they will receive a closure date after the 1st November.

Oliver Thomas, Corporate Communications officer for Lidl, told local press: “Earlier this year we completed contracts with British Land to take the current Homebase unit for our new store on High Road, Harrow Weald.”
