New format Dwell store to open in Oxford

DFS-owned contemporary furniture retailer dwell continues the second phase of its nationwide expansion with the opening of a new concept store in Oxford over the Boxing Day weekend.

Creating nine new jobs in the area, the 5500 sqft space is situated on the well-known Botley Road, providing an accessible destination for shoppers in Oxford and nearby towns, and offering extensive free parking facilities. The store will also have a Click and Collect point.

Leonora Ivan, the Oxford store manager, says: “We believe that stylish, contemporary design can be affordable, and we want to show how dwell can make it easy for customers to achieve the interior look and lifestyle they desire.”

Dwell CEO and founder Aamir Ahmad adds: “We are confident and optimistic about the future of dwell. Strong sales and healthy margins are encouraging and we are looking forward to continuing on this trajectory in 2016.”

Further nationwide expansion is planned for next year.
