New Hub Store at the Arndale Centre
Homewares retailer The Hub is to open a new 19,020 sq ft store at Manchester’s Arndale Centre next month.
The Hub, which sells affordable homewares and fashion accessories, is a newly established value retailer owned by Poundland co-founder Dave Dodd.
Opening on November 10th, the store has been agreed on a ten-year lease with the letting agents CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) and the shopping centre’s owners Prudential and Capital Shopping Centres.
Tom Lester, Associate Director for the shopping centre development and leasing team at CBRE, commented: “We are delighted that we have managed to secure a fantastic mix of retailers to the Arndale Centre and the Hub is a welcome addition.
“The centre is 99 per cent let and we hope to continue to attract further quality retailers to strengthen and complete the retail offer.”
In addition to The Hub, young fashion brand Luke 1977 has taken a new 1,800 sq ft store at the Arndale, which will be its fourth standalone store in the UK.
