New Middlesborough Store for B&M

929 B&M Hill Street, Middlesborough

At 8am on Friday 6th February 2026, B&M store colleagues gathered outside their brand-new store at Hill Street Shopping Centre to officially open the doors and welcome customers in for the first time.

Located in Hill Street Shopping Centre, Middlesbrough, the unit now hosting B&M provides a sales space of 11,497sqft. and was previously inhabited by One Beyond.

The launch of this brand-new B&M store has been much anticipated by the community of Middlesbrough, boosting the local economy and creating a handful of new jobs for local people.

B&M’s store manager commented: “We’re feeling really positive about creating new jobs for local people, and we really hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries, pet food & essentials, health & beauty products, homeware, furniture, electricals, toys, games, DIY, gifting, and so much more to explore.

For the grand opening of B&M Hill Street, store colleagues were joined by the local charity, Middlesbrough Foodbank, who were invited to take centre stage and officially unveil the new store with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Middlesbrough Foodbank believes that no one in their community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

B&M’s store manager also said: “We chose Middlesbrough Foodbank as we thought they deserved some VIP treatment for all the hard work they do for the community. We hope our donation can help them to continue the amazing work they do.”
