Salience Search Marketing's annual online UK bathroom sector report uncovers the industry's leaders based on their online prominence and visibility.

The report analysed 11 crucial performance indicators for online bathroom brands to reveal the industry's most successful names, including year-on-year visibility, search volume trends, and brand awareness. The full report is available to view here.

The Market Leaders

The industry’s market leaders are based on brands’ YOY organic traffic score to determine their online performance.

The findings crown B&Q as the bathroom industry’s market leader. With an impressive organic traffic score of 12,928,857, the retailer tops all other brands in the industry, securing it the leading position.

Meanwhile, Wickes and Travis Perkins follow behind with 741,123 and 350,569 organic traffic scores, respectively. These scores indicate excellent organic visibility and a well-planned strategy, which resulted in strong traffic figures.

Other brands in the top ten include Victorian Plumbing, Better Bathrooms, and City Plumbing.

The Best-Rated

A' score' was calculated to determine each brand's ranking by analysing its Trustpilot average star rating and the total number of reviews.

Victorian Plumbing ranks as the best-reviewed UK bathroom brand, recording a respectable review score across a healthy portion of online feedback, highlighting top-quality customer service. Overall, Victorian Plumbing boasts a 4.5 review score across over 400,000 reviews.

Other top performers include National Shower Spares, which had a high review score of 4.9 across 55,631 reviews, and Plumbworld, which also made the top three, recording an average review score of 4.8 with 67,589 pieces of feedback.

These 10 brands combine high-quality service with great products to enhance customer experience.

The Most Prominent

Other bathroom brands that made the top ten include Victorian Plumbing, Porcelanosa, and Easy Bathrooms, each recording a healthy amount of monthly brand searches.

These five bathroom brands have seen the most significant growth in online visibility, with B&Q securing the top spot. This brand has increased its traffic score by 37%, from 9,431,073 in 2024 to 12,928,857 in 2025, demonstrating efforts designed to boost online visibility.

Easy Panels experienced the most impressive surge, with a sizeable 416% increase in traffic, from 13,568 to 70,013, indicating a strong strategy to enhance its online presence.

The Biggest Decline in Online Visibility

The report also uncovers the brands facing the biggest drop in online visibility.

On the other end of the scale, Drench has experienced a 16% drop over the past twelve months. For 2025, the brand’s traffic score now sits at 113,521.

Big Bathroom Shop and QS Supplies both experience a 32% drop, while Victorian Plumbing sees the most significant decline (100%).

Brett Janes, Managing Director at Salience Search Marketing, said: “Our findings uncover the bathroom industry’s top brands for online brand awareness. From best-rated brands with excellent customer service to prominent names favoured by online shoppers, these brands prove they are the best in the market.

“Easy Panel’s significant online visibility growth over the last 12 months highlights the brand’s commitment and strong strategy to become a household name within the industry.

“Despite Wickes’ consistent position among the top 10, and its crowning spot as the most prominent brand, its steep decline in online visibility will need to be amended to ensure it remains among the industry’s top brands.”
