Screwfix and The Daily Star search for UK's top tradesman

Tool company Screwfix has joined forces with The Daily Star to launch a competition to find Britain’s Top Tradesman.

As well as being named Tradesman of the Year, the winner of the competition will also win a van worth up to £27,000.

John Mewett, marketing director at Screwfix, commented: “Tradesmen are the backbone of Britain and we want to reward them for their efforts with the chance to be recognised and win an incredible prize.

Tradesmen are being asked to enter through the Screwfix website or one of the company’s 161 trade counters, although phone entries are also being accepted through a dedicate hotline.
