Several retailers already lined up for BHETA’s ‘Meet the Buyer’ events in 2016

BHETA ‘Meet the Buyer’ days offer the unique opportunity for DIY and Housewares suppliers to meet major retailers outside of the usual buyer channels.

Events are exclusively open to BHETA members on application and are dedicated to finding mutually beneficial trading opportunities which might not otherwise have been recognised so quickly.

As a potential new supplier, you will be given pre-determined criteria and the opportunity to impress the relevant buyers in a 20 minute slot. Companies who impress the buyers on the day will either be referred on the day to sales representatives to ‘cut through the red tape’ there and then, or the chance to participate in a product trial or listing.

Past ‘Meet the Buyer’ days have included; Homebase, Robert Dyas, Screwfix, John Lewis, Lakeland, Wyevale, The Range, Argos.
