Stark Group's New Danish Distribution Centre Takes Shape

Spanning 24,000 square metres, the distribution centre will support the daily delivery of over 50,000 SKUs, mainly light-side materials, to construction sites and STARK branches across the country. Once operational, the centre will enable faster deliveries and reduce wasted time for tradespeople nationwide.
Strategically located in Greater Copenhagen, the facility will provide STARK with access to 35% of its customers within a one-hour drive. This strengthens the Group’s efficiency, customer service, and presence in growth areas, particularly in and around large cities, where construction activity is most significant.
CEO of STARK Group, Søren P. Olesen, says:
“Our distribution services are the backbone of serving our customers in the best and fastest way possible. The new distribution centre will strengthen our logistical capacity and enable us to improve both the range and availability of products and ensure a more efficient and flexible workday for tradespeople.”
The distribution centre is being constructed using environmentally responsible materials and design principles that will significantly reduce its carbon footprint. Targeting DGNB Gold certification, the project underlines STARK Group’s commitment to reducing emissions and achieving its climate targets, approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), including the long-term ambition to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
The new distribution centre is expected to be completed in the summer of 2026.
