Tapi expansion continues with plans for eight new stores

Tapi Carpets & Floors will take store numbers to 20 with the emerging floorcoverings retailer revealing its next eight locations, including a first in Wales.

Its new Cardiff Gate Retail Park unit will be the chain’s first in the country, as Tapi—founded by ex-Carpetright executive Martin Harris—continues its roll-out across the UK.

Other new stores include an Abbottsinch showroom, its third unit in the Glasgow area, while the firm is also strengthening in the southern half of England.

Stores in Coventry, Peterborough, Banbury, Wellingborough, Watford and Orpington will take total shop numbers to 20 within the next few weeks.

Tapi opened its first store—in Tooting, London—back in May this year.
