Tapi opens first Scottish store

Store numbers at fledgling floorcoverings chain Tapi Carpets & Floors are approaching double figures with the firm opening its first store in Scotland.
The retailer’s new Birkenshaw Trading Estate store at Uddingston on the edge of Glasgow is one of three new stores to open in recent weeks, bringing the total to nine.
Tapi was set up in May by former Carpetright director Martin Harris — son of founder Lord Harris — with a pledge to rapidly expand across the UK.
Besides Uddingston, its other latest stores are situated at the Southampton Retail Park in Nursling and the Abbey View Retail Park in St Albans.
