Terra Firma nearing exclusive talks on Garden Centre Group

Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd., the private equity firm owned by Guy Hands, is close to buying the Garden Centre Group, the Sunday Times said, citing an unidentified source close to the sale.

Terra Firma is expected this week to enter exclusive talks with the sellers, which include Lloyds Banking Group Plc, and a deal would value the company at 300 million pounds ($471 million), according to the newspaper.
