Returning to Olympia London, for 10 days, from 10–19 April 2026, the Ideal Home Show unveils a bold new chapter in its 118-year story - packed with fresh features, immersive experiences and inspiring ideas that redefine the modern home show. This year, the focus is firmly on what’s new, now and next in home design and lifestyle innovation, offering visitors more ways than ever to get hands-on, creative and inspired.

From the debut of the Kitchen Hub and the creative duo of The Design Studio and DIY Live, to the show’s revitalised Gardens area featuring the sizzling new BBQ Academy, the 2026 edition promises its most interactive line-up yet.

A design highlight for 2026, this year’s Ideal Home - Town & Country Living, will embody the ‘Modern Country’ concept – a style blending craftsmanship and comfort with a modern aesthetic, setting the tone for the season’s leading interior trends. Reflecting the growing appreciation of rural charm in contemporary spaces, it sets the tone for this 2026’s leading interior trends.

Budding horticulturalists can discover sustainable living in The Edible Garden, from growing organic produce to creating a greener home, while pet owners can discover ways to enhance their furry friends’ wellbeing at The Bark Yard.

The Main Stage returns with a refreshed format featuring new live cooking, plus home and lifestyle talks and masterclasses from celebrity gardeners, interior designers, property experts and TV personalities. Celebrity experts George Clarke, Stuart and Scarlette Douglas, Jason Bradbury, David Domoney, Grace Forell, Georgina Burnett, Matt Tebbutt and Briony Ace, will join a dynamic programme of live demos, design showcases and workshops, bringing the latest trends, ideas and inspiration together under one roof. Adding to this year’s expert line-up, TV presenter and security specialist Rav Wilding will share practical insights on home safety and scam awareness, a timely new addition reflecting the show’s commitment to relevant, real-world advice.

In the creative heart of the show, The Design Studio and DIY Live celebrate hands-on creativity and the growing appetite for upcycling and small-space makeovers, reflecting how homeowners are tackling projects themselves to save and personalise their spaces.

Meanwhile, the Kitchen Hub offers an immersive advice-led space focussed on design and technology solutions for the modern home, and The Smart Home will see TV presenter and tech expert Jason Bradbury demonstrate how intelligent innovation can make everyday living more connected, comfortable and efficient.

For those inspired by outside entertaining, the new Alfresco Dining Garden brings a taste of the Mediterranean to Olympia, complete with expert-led sessions on outdoor kitchens, hosting and seasonal dining. Alongside it, the BBQ Academy will fire up all-year-round barbecue creativity with tips, techniques and recipes from the pros.

Visitors can unwind with Tipsy Workshops blending hands-on crafting with complimentary fizz. They can then indulge their inner foodie at the Eat & Drink Festival – the bustling culinary hub of the Ideal Home Show – featuring The Great Eat and the Artisan Producers Market. Celebrate global flavours, master mixology, and discover unique artisan produce, with something for every food lover, it’s an unmissable experience.

With hundreds of exhibitors across every corner of home and lifestyle, home and design enthusiasts can get up close with their favourite TV personalities, celebrity designers and home influencers as they share insider secrets, practical advice and the latest trends.

Returning favourites such as the Spring Clean Stage brings a packed line-up of speakers sharing expert tips and practical home hacks, while the new Expert Advice experience offers more accessible, one-to-one drop-in sessions across multiple show areas, from interior design and gardening to renovation planning.

This year also marks a new charity partnership with Furnishing Futures, a social enterprise helping women and children who’ve experienced domestic abuse rebuild their lives through beautifully designed, fully furnished homes.

Ideal Home Show Director, Giles Perry said: “The Ideal Home Show has always celebrated creativity and the joy of making a house a home. As design and lifestyle trends evolve, so does our event - bringing together the best of expert advice, hands-on experiences and inspiration design under one roof. Whether you’re renovating a family home, enhancing a city flat or simply seeking fresh ideas, this year’s show offers something for every visitor".

For a more indulgent day out, visitors can upgrade to a VIP ticket and enjoy access to an exclusive lounge, perched high above the show floor within the mezzanine of the Ideal Home – life-sized show home, with a welcome glass of prosecco, unlimited refreshments, cloakroom service, and a luxury goody bag.
