The week ahead: Kingfisher expected to report strong LFL sales increase
It is a shortened week, but even so, there are few heavy hitters reporting this week.
Among the small selection of big names scheduled to update the market are Kingfisher, De La Rue and Tate & Lyle.
UBS is forecasting first quarter retail profit of £150mln for DIY-retailer Kingfisher, which is roughly in line with consensus, and a sharp increase on the £114mln notched up in the corresponding period of last year, when the weather was not very helpful.
The Swiss bank expects the B&Q owner to report like-for-like sales growth of 7.5%, year-on-year.
