Toolbank names new product director

Mark Allen has been appointed product director at Toolbank, the tools and hardware distributor. He succeeds Wayne Flory, who was promoted to CEO late last year, and as product director has overall responsibility for the continued development of Toolbank’s branded product ranges, trade promotions, supplier relationships and negotiations.

Mr Allen brings wide experience of the home improvement and builders’ merchant market to his new role. “It’s rare for Toolbank to make an outside appointment at senior level, but Mark brings different perspectives that will really add value to our team” said Toolbank chairman Andrew Strong.

Mr Allen started in his new role at the beginning of February and joins the eight existing members of the Toolbank Management Board.
