Toolstation Builds Upon Convenience with Battersea Collection Locker Trial

Toolstation, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of tools and building supplies, has partnered with eLocker to install 17 collection lockers outside its Toolstation GO store in Battersea, offering customers a faster, more convenient way to shop, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once the order is made at any time during business hours through www.Toolstation.com or through the Toolstation app, the customer is notified, and they can collect it with a code on their phone, whenever suits them.  

The eLocker format turns click and collect option into a self-service option format that customers can run from the convenience of their mobile. The new option builds upon Toolstation GO’s ambition of delivering the ultimate in customer convenience since opening in Battersea earlier this year. 

Toolstation GO Battersea also features digital kiosks that mean customers can skip the queues and browse the Toolstation range and place orders to be collected at the counter. The GO store format also includes Toolstation’s Fast Track service, which means thousands of products can be delivered to site or home in as little as 30 minutes, while products are localised to the store and they are updated and maintained based on customer and store insight.  

The trial of the collection lockers demonstrates Toolstation’s commitment to providing tradespeople with an efficient and dependable service that helps them stay productive, on schedule and in control from their first stop of the day to their final job.

If the trial proves successful, Toolstation will potentially roll this feature out further in the future.

The Toolstation GO store and new eLockers are based at Unit 1, 481 Battersea Park Road, SW11 4LW. 

Store opening hours for the Toolstation GO store are from 7am-8pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 9am to 4pm on Sunday, while the order cut-off for same day collection from the eLockers is by 7.30pm during Monday to Saturday, and at 3.30pm on Sunday. If products are ordered after this time, they can be collected on the next day.
