Topps Tiles launches new store in Widnes

A major tile and wood flooring specialist has boosted its presence in the North West with the launch of a new store in Widnes.

The Teal Business Park store is one of the first stores to take on the new look of Topps Tiles with new design features and graphics.

The outlet features an extensive range of wall and floor tiles; ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass and mosaic, as well as solid, engineered, laminate and vinyl floorings.

And retail customers can book a free 30-minute in-store consultation with a Topps Tiles expert for advice on their DIY projects.

Four staff are employed at the new store – a manager, assistant manager and two customer service assistants.

Rob Myers, Topps Tiles area business manager, said: “We’re thrilled to be joining the neighbourhood and are excited about bringing our premium offering and Topps Tiles expertise to Widnes.

“We look forward to inspiring DIY enthusiasts to embrace the latest tile trends while ensuring that traders have access to our top quality products at a competitive price through our dedicated Topps Tiles trade accounts.”

Trade professionals can sign up in-store for Topps Tiles trade membership, which offers advice, competitive trade discounts and low prices on adhesive and grout.

The store also offers a ‘phone, pay and pickup’ service, pallet deals, and exclusive products.

Since opening its first store in Manchester in 1963 the Topps Tiles group has grown to incorporate 1,500 staff and more than 300 stores nationally, with more openings in the pipeline.

Mr Myers added: “The latest launch underpins Topps Tiles’ policy to inspire home improvement by offering great value products and exceptional levels of service.”
