Travis Perkins adds waste management to Hire services

The hire service of Travis Perkins has launched a range of waste management solutions.

With its service promise of “any waste, any time, any where”, customers now have access to an extensive choice of refuse and recycling solutions from wheelie bins and skips, to road sweepers and the removal of hazardous material.

In addition to skips and bins, the service extends to an exclusive partnership with HIPPOBAG, the removal of hazardous and specialist waste, and the hire of recycling equipment such as balers.

The extensive range of solutions is supported by the assurance that Travis Perkins assesses all of its contractors to give customers confidence that their waste is being handled safely and in accordance with regulations. This comprehensive process also ensures that a tailored and effective solution will be provided every time.

John Leader, head of waste management solutions at Travis Perkins, said: “This service has been built around the needs of the trade, so customers can rest assured that we have the product range and availability they require.

“Travis Perkins continued to invest in its Hire service through 2013 with nationwide customers now having access to a range of high-quality and safety checked tools and equipment. The waste management solutions add another string to our bow and yet another fantastic service to make life as simple, and as profitable, as possible for the trade.”

I find the news and articles they publish really useful and enjoy reading their views and commentary on the industry. It's the only source of quality, reliable information on our major customers and it's used regularly by myself and my team.
