Travis Perkins secures £4m contract with Scottish Borders Housing Association
Following an extensive tender process, the building supply company Travis Perkins has secured a 5-year deal to supply SBHA with repairs goods and materials, a contract worth over £4 million. The building material supplier has four depots in the Scottish Borders and this contract is a significant boost to local employment for the company.
Travis Perkins representative James Clack said:
"Travis Perkins are delighted to be continuing our partnership with SBHA and look forward to providing further product, people and community investment to support SBHA & their operatives in delivering the best possible service to tenants in the Borders region."
Alan Vass, Director of Technical Services for SBHA stated:
"The preferred supplier of maintenance materials agreement with Travis Perkins offers SBHA a value for money partnership ensuring that our Tenants receive the highest quality materials and service delivery available."
SBHA carries out over 21,000 repairs per annum to tenants' homes; as well as the ongoing improvement programme, spending in excess of £31 million on these improvements over the next five years.
