T-Rex gets its teeth into first national radio campaign

Trex Shurtape

Shurtape is delighted to announce a UK-wide consumer radio campaign to promote its newest family member, T-Rex.

The leading tape manufacturer is investing heavily in the extra strong tape, kicking off a TalkSport promotion in October, which will be supported by nationwide press and online advertising.

Alan Murray, head of marketing at Shurtape, comments: “This is the first campaign of its kind for T-Rex. The product was launched last year and the feedback from both consumer DIYers and professional builders has been simply immense. Our UK site is now live and we will be supporting the advertising with a proactive social media and PR campaign, to really engage with our users in a fun and memorable way".

T-Rex Tape has Shurtape’s unique Co-Rex technology, giving it 4 times the staying power, 3 times the holding power and 2 times the bite’. It is UV and weather resistant, making it ideal for all DIY and building needs - and perfect for long-lasting repairs. Plus it produces an easy, clean and quick tear.

Alan concludes: “Now is the right time to show our investment in the brand, which is huge in the US. People are looking to get the house and garden secure for the winter months. The channels are perfect too - T-Rex is also great for the outdoor sports enthusiast, so we have chosen everything carefully.“With listings in all the major retailers and merchants, we are keen to show support and drive traffic in store. Watch out for more news to come!”
