Turnover Nears £1bn at The Range

The Range has reported on trading for the year ended 3rd February 2019.
In documents filed at Companies House for CDS (Superstores International) Ltd, the company revealed that turnover was £945m, compared with £869.1m the previous year.
Post-tax profits have risen to £57.6m from £42.6m, with gross profit increasing by 8% (9% in the previous year) as a result of increased turnover, both from new stores and increasing sales in existing stores, and maintaining fixed costs.
A statement in the documents said, "The Group is optimistic about the future given the continued growth and associated economies as well as the strength of the concept."
Twelve new stores were opened during the reporting period and, since that date, The Range has opened or planned several new branches, including:
September 2019 - Paisley - 175th branch
February 2019 - New flagship store in Plymouth
