TV star to front new Topps Tiles TV campaign

TV property expert Phil Spencer is to be the face of a Leicestershire firm's new advertising campaign.

Mr Spencer, who hosts Channel 4's Location Location Location alongside Kirstie Allsopp, will front a marketing push by tiling and flooring chain Topps Tiles.

It comes after Phil launched the Enderby group's latest boutique store in Bayswater, west London.

Chief executive Matthew Williams said: "We are hugely looking forward to working with him.

"With his expertise of helping people find their perfect property match, he knows exactly what makes home buyers fall in love with a home."

The high-profile advertising campaign will be aired this autumn.

Topps Tiles, which has 330 stores across the UK, launched its boutiques earlier this year to appeal to a more upmarket customer.

Three others have been opened in London in the past few months – Clapham Junction, in south-west London, and Islington, north London and Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

Mr Williams said: "With 330-plus stores across the UK, we're renowned for our large edge-of-town formats, but this new format store aims to bring the best of the Topps Tiles product range to the high street, making the brand even more accessible."
