Wesfarmers culls Homebase management team

The new owner of Homebase - Wesfarmers - has removed a number of directors from their roles, having only completed the takeover of the business on Monday.

Initial articles suggested that the following members of the board were preparing to leave:

Echo Lu - Managing Director
Paul Emslie - Commercial Director
Ewan McMahon - Retail Operations Director
Chris McDonough - Marketing Director 

UPDATE:

Our contacts have just told us that the entire Homebase board will be leaving in the next two weeks, with Echo Lu leaving this Friday.  The HR team will remain in place for six months.
