Wickes Launches First Pink Kitchen

Wickes - Ohio dusky pink kitchen

Pink kitchens are no longer a niche choice, they’re the home interior trend of 2025, and now home improvement retailer Wickes has joined the movement with the release of its first-ever pink kitchen, launching alongside eight new kitchen shades.

From dusky blush tones to soft plaster pinks, this shade has evolved into a sophisticated staple, dominating social feeds and inspiring thousands of kitchen makeovers. Searches for ‘pink kitchens’ have soared by 112% in the past year1, proving the colour’s appeal is spreading far beyond accessories and accent walls.

Interior experts are calling this muted pink ‘the new neutral,’2 a versatile alternative that adds warmth without overpowering a space. While some predicted the pink craze would fade after the Barbie movie hype, social media tells a different story. According to Wickes’ research, Instagram has overtaken traditional media as the number one influence on kitchen design3.

‘We’ve seen an undeniable surge in demand for softer, more expressive colour palettes,’ says Paul Bangs, Category Director of Kitchens at Wickes. ‘Our new Dusky Pink kitchen perfectly embodies this trend, playful yet sophisticated, with warm undertones that work in any home. Alongside other trending colourways like Forest Green, Porcelain, and Hazy Blue, it’s one of eight new styles added this season, bringing the total Lifestyle Kitchens range to 23 styles. We also provide a free design service, from initial ideas and design through to installation and aftercare, we offer customers the freedom to create a kitchen that feels both personal and effortlessly stylish.’

And for those who want the full Instagram-worthy finish, Wickes has also launched the SMEG range, offering a curated selection of the Italian brand’s iconic appliances - think pastel fridges, retro kettles, and statement ovens.

Not Ready for a Full Pink Kitchen? For those wanting to test the waters, Wickes also offers the Blush Rose Matt Emulsion Paint (2.5L) - part of the popular Wickes x Kimberley Walsh range - perfect for adding a subtle blush to walls, cabinetry, or shelving. Influencers like @behind_the_pink_door show how adding subtle nods of pink palette can transform a room into something both elegant and inviting.

Wickes NEW Lifestyle Kitchen styles, including Dusty Pink, are available to view online, and more details can be found in the Wickes brochure.
