Wilkinson awards delivery contract to Clipper

Logistics firm Clipper has won a contract from high street retailer Wilkinson to provide delivery services.

Clipper will stock 14,000 product lines from its Ollerton centre which was extended by 150,000 sq ft earlier this year.

The Leeds-based business will provide a range of delivery options for Wilkinson customers including home delivery and "click and collect" from stores.

Managing director Tony Mannix said: “As a UK leader in retail logistics, we’re perfectly placed to aid Wilkinson’s offering.

"Retailers are increasingly seeing the value of an online presence and by combining our ability and Wilkinson’s reputation for quality and value, we’re confident we can deliver a great customer experience."

The contract is the latest success for Clipper as it looks to support high street retailers trying to capture a bigger slice of the online market.
